I drew Alexander during a book signing he had near us for his new book, "Red Tail Down." It rained that day, so during a slow period, I got my sketch pad out and sketched while Alexander related the many amazing adventures he'd had as a Tuskegee fight pilot during World War II. On his 19th mission he was shot down and held in a German prisoner of war camp. Thank you, Alexander and all the rest of our military men and women for your service to us all! You can order Alexander's book, which I highly recommend at http://www.amazon.com/Red-Tail-Captured-Free-Tuskegee/dp/0823223663/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268011584&sr=8-1 |
